Kerr Soverall Art hosts weekly Watercolour classes in the Kirkton of Skene village, please see Terms and Conditions for venue detail. The “Beginners Block" is a 4-week block which covers all essentials in watercolour to start your art journey with us. Once you have completed the beginners block you are then invited to become a "Continuing Artist".

The beginners block covers all the basics of how to paint with watercolour, its a wonderful introduction to the medium with various techniques. Kerr Soverall Art welcomes ABSOLUTE beginners to this block, even if its been 40 years since you last picked up a paintbrush you are always welcome to start your art journey with us. Practicing creativity allows you to slowly develop the skill of being creative. Focusing on the positive and being patient with yourself whilst you learn is the only thing you need to enjoy your art journey.

Week 1 - flowers

Week 2- Landscapes. 

Week 3- Birds 

Week 4- Hare  

 The beginners Block allows you an overall understanding of  the rhythm of watercolour. 

The classes create a space to enjoy and share a love for art. Each class is 1 hour 45mins and all supplies are provided during class times.

Watercolour classes are friendly, encouraging and positive. An inviting space to connect with others whilst expressing yourself through art.

Beginner's in watercolour will be given a folder to keep their completed Artwork in and i do ask that you bring your folder along with you to class each week.

Tea & coffee is available during the class times

Rebecca continues to host each watercolour class personally and offers individual guidance throughout.
